Guestia is pleased to announce it has been chosen to create and manage an Oyster Yacht branded mobile app for use by staff and guests at Oyster sailing events worldwide, in a long-term deal.
The agreement, which will see Oyster use a bespoke branded version of the trusted Guestia app and platform, means that participants at Oyster sailing events will benefit from having all information to hand on a tailormade mobile app.
The Oyster app will deliver personalised information to each guest, whether that’s at a Regatta in Antigua or at the prestigious Oyster World Rally, amongst others. The app will contain all race information, sailing conditions, rules and notices, alongside personal guest itineraries which detail all the activities happening throughout the duration of the event. It will highlight the important locations guests need to know, and Oyster will use another version of the app to organise staff accommodation and logistics.
Additionally, the Oyster app will include a brand-new media wall to display guest photos from each event and enhance the feeling of community amongst sailors. Oyster are also trusting the app to host and communicate the Oyster World Rally, a 1000 plus page sailing bible which guides participating yachts through each stage of their circumnavigation.
The new app was unveiled for the first time at the Oyster Palma Rendezvous on 1st-3rd October 2021 where guests took part in casual cruising, cocktail competitions, watersports and exclusive dining experiences in Palma and Andratx.

The renowned British yacht builder has over 20 million bluewater sailing miles and more than 90 sailing circumnavigations under their belt.
Guestia is an event and travel app that transforms how organisers manage and communicate with guests, by taking all event information online. The multifunctional app provides users with personalised event and travel information, updated in real time, and removes the need for paper itineraries, spreadsheets or information packs.
